Stapati turns 35

The thirty-fifth anniversary of Stapati was celebrated on 14th November 2024 in Dubai at the Jumeirah Emirates Towers. This grand event showcased the firm’s journey, ethos, and accomplishments over the past three and a half decades.
The celebration commenced with an exhibition of Stapati's work, where guests explored displays highlighting the firm's notable projects. The theme of the evening, People, Projects, Practice, reflected the core values that have shaped Stapati's legacy. Architect Tony Joseph delivered an inspiring speech about the firm’s growth, emphasizing its ethos of sincerity and commitment to clients, projects, and the environment. Video interviews with clients, architects, and associates added a personal dimension to the event. Stapati's partners—George Seemon, Mohandas, Anupama, Rajesh, Harish, and Poonam—were introduced to the audience, highlighting their pivotal roles in the firm’s success.

A key moment of the evening was the unveiling of a book cover by Bose Krishnamachari, the Founder President of the Kochi-Muziris Biennale. The cake-cutting ceremony was led by Varkki Pallathucheril, Dean of the School of Architecture at the American University of Sharjah, adding a celebratory touch to the proceedings.

The event also featured a captivating musical performance by Kavya Ajit and concluded with a lavish dinner. Over 275 guests attended, including 130 Stapati team members who traveled for the occasion, alongside prominent personalities from Dubai’s business, architectural, and design communities. The evening was a fitting tribute to Stapati’s 35-year legacy and its unwavering commitment to excellence in architecture.
